It has been a very very busy 18 months but the last week has really pushed myself to the brink!!! Our network is split across three web servers in a bid to reduce the risk of a complete network outage and so if one of our sites is down the other site will pick up the slack.
Thankfully this careful planning was a saving grace for The Plasterers Forum and Plasterers News As just over a week ago we had the security of Plasterers News compromised and it brought down the server. I worked for 48 hours straight trying to get the site back online and when we finally got it back online we were hit again.
It was a stressful time for me as this time of the year is a extremely busy time of the year and so anything that is not schedule really does put a spanner in the works.
So that is why we have been a little bit distant the last few weeks but we have a lot on the cards for both Plasterers News and The Plasterers Forum and we will be adding another site to our growing network in the next few weeks which will be exciting and hopefully something you will enjoy and see the value of.
Plasterers News and The Plasterers Forum are still growing at a rate that has blown me away and with the likes of facebook coming along we are still seeing a lovely growth and the future is very bright.
