K Rend Silicone Roughcast chosen for £25m Speyside Distillery development June 2015 saw the new distillery at Speyside, Scotland open it’s doors after completion of the Robertson Construction project.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon officially opened the new whisky distillery owned by French Chivas brothers and it is expected to produce 10m litres of spirit a year.

The £25 million development, finished using K Rend Silicone Roughcast in White has been deemed ‘Architecturally Stunning’ with eight copper, tulip and onion shape stills which have been relocated from the Imperial distillery which were on site until 2012.

Silicone Roughcast incorporates silicone technology to give excellent water resistant qualities and was applied over K Rend Dash Receiver which is polymer modified and through coloured.
