2014…. What A Year…

What a fantastic year we have had over at The Plasterers Forum® and at Plasterers News™ we have had one of those years that you could not imagine being possible, and we have seen the launch of some of the great tools and materials.

Plasterers News

The Plasterers Forum saw its busiest ever year, and we reached a massive 24,000 members, and that is still growing day and day out, which is fantastic.

Plasterers News saw its first birthday, and the growth of the site has far exceeded all expectations of myself, and the site sponsors with record breaking visitors each month, which is brilliant.

The Plasterers Forum is a great place for plasterers and like-minded people all over the UK and much further afield meet and connect and with members passing work around to other members, and we are seeing a large number of people using the site to find local plasterers as well.

So let’s go back through and remind you what has been happening in 2014…

The Plasterers Forum Days Out…

The Plasterers Forum organises days out with manufacturers like British Gypsum and Knauf, and we hold days out for members of the forum to go out and visit the mines and factories, and it is always a fantastic day out for the members and also the companies.

The British Gypsum Mine Tour

British Gypsum took 15 members of the Plasterers Forum on a day out down the mine and a chance to play with some new materials and talk about future developments.

The Knauf Day Out

The Knauf day out was all about playing with MP finish and having a look at other plastering systems like the airless spraying system which I know is making a lot of plasterers a lot of money at the moment.
